According to Guitar Teacher Magazine: A Survey
of 350 guitar teachers was done. According to the survey,
the average price for a 30 minute lesson is $20 and the average
60 minute lesson is $39. I am well below the national average.
In addition more than 47% do not charge when given notice.
Only 16% charge no matter what.
"If music is the key....then
guitar is the vehicle", Mark Koch, Professor of Guitar,
Duquesne University
I believe that guitar is one of the
most important music classes to be offered. With this class
you attract students who might not ever enter the music program.
The guitar class does not take away from band, orchestra,
or choral programs but in fact makes them stronger.
This is a book of guitar ensembles
for advanced beginners co-authored with Romana Hartmetz,
Nancy Marsters, Bob Morris, and Christopher Hubbard. (permanently
out of print)
The book is currently unavailable
from Class Guiar Resources.
